What details should an invoice include?

Can you make an invoice without GST?

Yes. If GST, VAT or sales tax does not apply, leave the tax value blank or set it to zero. You can still create a simple invoice with customer details, item pricing and a browser PDF. For examples, see the create invoice without GST guide.

How tax and discount appear on the PDF

When you add a percentage discount or tax rate, the invoice summary and PDF show the percentage label so the customer can understand how the final amount was calculated. If your tax has multiple components, such as CGST plus SGST or IGST, enter the combined rate in the tool and mention the component split in notes when needed.
