1. Acceptance of these terms
By using the Docarith website, free invoice or quotation tools, launch communication or future app features when they become available, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use Docarith for a business, you confirm that you have authority to use it for that business.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Docarith. By using Docarith, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the website, free tools or future app features.
2. About Docarith
Docarith is currently a privately operated product based in India. Until Docarith is operated through a registered company, references to “Docarith”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the current Docarith operator. For support, privacy, accessibility and grievance requests, contactsupport@docarith.com.
Docarith is being developed as a billing, inventory and business records product for invoices, quotations, purchases, sales, inventory, payments, customers, suppliers, reports, PDF exports and local backup workflows. The website may provide free browser-based tools while the full app is under development for phone and desktop platforms.
3. Free website tools
The website may provide free browser-based invoice and quotation tools. These tools are provided for convenience and may use your browser to preview documents, print, save PDFs and keep browser-only document history on the same device. You do not currently need a Docarith server account to use these free tools.
You are responsible for checking all document details before printing, saving, sending or relying on them. Browser-only history should not be used as your only business record. Save, download or back up any document you need to keep.
4. Product availability and pre-launch information
Docarith is under active development. Website content may describe planned, upcoming or developing features. Some features may change, be delayed, be limited by platform or not be released.
References to Android, iOS, macOS and Windows describe the intended product approach and may depend on final development, testing, security review, store approvals and platform requirements.
5. Offline-first use
Docarith is being designed to work offline for core workflows such as invoices, quotations, inventory, purchases, sales and local business records. Offline use means many records may be stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for protecting your device, maintaining safe backups and ensuring that important records are not lost. If you uninstall the app, reset your device, delete app data, clear browser storage, damage your device or lose access to local storage, records may be lost unless you have created and safely stored a backup.
Internet may be required for optional connected services such as multi-device sync, cloud backup, app updates, store purchases, payment links, email sharing, analytics, diagnostics, account login or future account-based features.
6. User responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you enter, generate, import, scan, export, print, send or back up using Docarith. This includes invoice details, customer details, supplier details, item quantities, prices, taxes, discounts, stock levels, payment status, reports and backup files.
You agree not to use Docarith to create false, misleading, fraudulent, unlawful, harmful or unauthorized documents or records.
7. Invoices, taxes and compliance
Docarith may help create invoices, quotations, PDFs, tax fields, discounts, payment terms and totals. You are responsible for confirming that your document format, numbering, tax calculations, business details, customer details and records meet the rules that apply in your country, state, region or industry.
Docarith does not provide tax, accounting, legal, compliance, banking or financial advice. Docarith does not guarantee that a generated invoice, quotation, tax calculation, payment status, inventory value, report or PDF will satisfy every legal, accounting, tax, e-invoicing or record-keeping requirement.
8. Inventory, profit and reports
Docarith may estimate stock value, cost of goods sold, profit, outstanding balances and business performance. These values depend on the accuracy of data entered by the user and may not reflect formal accounting results.
9. Barcode, camera and document workflows
Barcode, camera, OCR, photo, file and document features may depend on device permissions, browser capability, operating system support, image quality and user review. You are responsible for checking scanned, imported or suggested information before saving or relying on it.
10. Customers, suppliers and third-party data
If you enter customer, supplier, employee or other third-party information into Docarith, you are responsible for having the right to use that information and for giving any privacy notice or obtaining any consent required by applicable law.
11. Backups, restore and exports
You are responsible for creating, testing, protecting and storing backups and exported files. Restore, import or merge actions may change local data, so you should keep a safe copy before restoring or importing records.
12. Free and paid features
Docarith may offer free features and future Pro, premium or paid features. Pricing, limits, availability, billing periods, trial terms, refund rules and platform-specific purchase terms will be shown before a paid purchase is completed.
App-store purchases, subscriptions and refunds may also be governed by Apple, Google, Microsoft, payment processor or other platform rules where applicable.
13. Payments and third-party services
If Docarith later integrates payment links, payment processors, cloud backup, sync, email delivery, analytics, diagnostics or other third-party services, those services may have separate terms and privacy notices. Docarith is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.
14. Platform rules
Mobile and desktop app versions may be subject to platform rules, app-store policies, operating system limitations and device permissions. Some features may work differently across Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and browser environments.
15. Intellectual property
The Docarith name, branding, website design, text, software, workflows, icons, layout and related materials belong to the Docarith project/operator or its licensors, except for content that users enter or upload.
You may use generated invoices, quotations, PDFs and exports for your own lawful business purposes. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, misuse, scrape or redistribute Docarith software or website content except as allowed by law.
16. Feedback
If you send feedback, suggestions or ideas, Docarith may use them to improve the product without owing compensation, provided we do not use your confidential business records without permission.
17. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Docarith, interfere with security, attempt to access systems without permission, submit malware, overload the website, infringe others’ rights, violate privacy laws, create illegal documents or use Docarith in a way that harms others.
18. Availability, errors and corrections
Docarith may be updated, interrupted, changed or discontinued. We try to keep information accurate, but website content, calculations, previews, PDFs, currencies, country codes, launch details and planned feature descriptions may contain mistakes or become outdated. You should review important documents before sending or relying on them.
19. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Docarith is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, legal compliance, tax compliance, accounting accuracy, data availability or error-free results.
20. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Docarith will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost business, lost records, tax penalties, accounting errors, device loss, backup failure, browser storage loss or third-party service issues.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
21. Privacy and data protection
Use of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. You are responsible for complying with privacy and data protection rules that apply to information you choose to enter about customers, suppliers, employees or other people.
22. Governing law
Unless a different mandatory law applies, these terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India. Courts or authorities in other countries may still apply mandatory local consumer, privacy, tax or business rules where required.
Subject to any mandatory local consumer protection rules that cannot be excluded, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Docarith will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
23. Changes to Docarith or these terms
Docarith may update the website, tools, app, features, prices, policies or these terms. The “Last updated” date shows when these terms were last changed. Continued use of Docarith after an update means you accept the revised terms.
24. Ending use
You may stop using Docarith at any time. You are responsible for exporting or backing up records you need before uninstalling the app, clearing site data, deleting local files or changing devices.
25. Severability and entire agreement
If part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. These terms, together with linked policies, form the agreement for use of the website, free tools and planned product features.
