1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Websites may also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, device identifiers or browser cache to keep settings, remember choices or support core features.
2. How Docarith currently uses browser storage
The free invoice and quotation tools may use browser storage to keep browser-only document history on the same device. This allows you to reopen or edit documents later from the same browser, unless the data is cleared or no longer available.
Clearing browser/site data, using private browsing, changing browsers or changing devices may remove or hide saved browser-only documents. PDFs already downloaded to your device are not deleted by clearing Docarith website storage.
3. Strictly necessary technologies
Some browser technologies may be necessary to provide the website or free tools at your request. They may be used to keep temporary form state, support browser-only history, maintain security, improve performance or remember essential choices. These technologies are used to make the service work and are not intended for advertising.
4. Analytics, advertising and consent
Docarith does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, remarketing pixels or cross-site tracking for the free billing tools. The website currently uses browser storage only to operate user-requested features, such as browser-only document history.
For that reason, Docarith does not currently show a cookie consent banner. If Docarith later adds analytics, advertising, affiliate measurement, remarketing, cross-site tracking or other non-essential technologies, this policy will be updated and a cookie banner or preference center will be shown before those technologies are activated where prior consent is required by law. Users will be able to accept, reject or manage their choices through that mechanism.
5. Managing cookies and browser storage
You can control cookies and site data through your browser settings. You can also clear browser/site data to remove locally saved invoices, quotations and other site storage. Browser controls differ between Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Android and iOS.
If you clear site data, Docarith may not be able to recover browser-only invoices, quotations or settings stored only in that browser. Save or download documents you need to keep.
6. Regional privacy and cookie rules
Depending on where you live, rules such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or similar local laws may apply to cookies, local storage and device access. Docarith aims to use essential browser storage clearly and to add consent choices before using non-essential tracking where required.
7. Relationship with the Privacy Policy
This Cookie Policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy, which explains broader privacy handling for the website, free tools and planned app.
8. Updates
This policy may be updated if Docarith adds analytics, crash reporting, account login, payment services, cloud backup, sync, email delivery, advertising or other connected services. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
