Delete your Docarith cloud account
If you can access the Docarith app, use the in-app account deletion option in Settings → Cloud Backup → Delete Cloud Account. Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app to request deletion of the cloud account and associated cloud data controlled by Docarith.
If you no longer have access to the app, email support@docarith.com with the subject Delete my Docarith cloud account. Send the request from the same email address used for the Docarith cloud account whenever possible. We may ask for reasonable information to verify account ownership before processing the request.
Never send your password, one-time password (OTP), Cloud Recovery Code, backup encryption keys or other authentication secrets by email.
Delete data without deleting your account
Docarith provides separate controls for local app data and optional cloud-backup data. Neither action requires you to delete your Docarith cloud account.
Delete local app data and recovery copies
In the app, open Settings → Reset & Delete Data. UseReset Docarith data to remove current local business data while following the recovery-copy choices shown by the app, or useDelete app data and recovery copies when you want to remove both current local business data and Docarith recovery copies from that device. These controls do not delete your cloud account or automatically remove separately stored cloud backups.
Delete cloud backups while keeping your account
In Settings → Cloud Backup, you can delete individual cloud backups while keeping the cloud account available for future use. Deleting a selected cloud backup does not delete local business data stored on your device.
If you cannot use the app and want to request deletion of cloud-backup data without deleting the whole account, email support@docarith.com with the subject Delete my Docarith cloud data and describe the cloud data you want removed. We may need to verify account ownership before acting on the request.
What account deletion covers
A verified cloud-account deletion request is intended to delete the Docarith cloud account and cloud data associated with that account that Docarith controls, including cloud-backup data, subject to limited retention where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute or audit obligations. There is no general fixed post-deletion retention period for cloud-account data; any limited retention lasts only as long as reasonably necessary or required by applicable law. Support-request correspondence may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
Local data on your device
Docarith is designed to keep core business records locally for offline use. Data stored only on your device is not a server-side account record and may remain on that device after a cloud-account deletion request. Use Settings → Reset & Delete Datawhen you want to remove local Docarith records and, where selected, local recovery copies from that device.
Google Play subscriptions
Deleting a Docarith cloud account does not by itself cancel a Google Play subscription. If you have an active Docarith subscription, manage or cancel it separately through Google Play. Subscription records may also be retained by Google according to Google Play's own policies.
